* By entering your film for consideration for the 2021 Detroit Drone Film Festival, you authorize that your work is cleared for festival exhibition and accept full legal responsibility for the intellectual property therein. Entry into the festival constitutes permission to exhibit your work at the 2021 Detroit Drone Film Festival, on the Festival’s website and social media. All films must be free of copy written music or audio. Jury members are NOT permitted to submit their work to the festival. Failure to comply with the above guidelines will result in disqualification.*

NOMINEES WILL BE ANNOUNCED September 9, 2022
The TOP 4 RANKING FILMS IN EACH CATEGORY WILL BE NOMINATED FOR A CATEGORY WINNER.
- All filmmakers will receive an email from Film Freeway notifying them of their judging status.
- Nominees will be chosen by a Jury of leading producers, directors, drone operators, photographers and creatives.
- If nominated, exhibition format digital files and additional information will be requested from the filmmakers.
- All nominees work will be posted on our website and shared on our social media.
Only category cinners are eligible to win the Grand Prize.
All category winners + grand prize winners will be announced live during the 2022 DETDFF Screening.
Photography and Cinematography Nominees will have their work digitally displayed at the Detroit Drone Film Festival Screening (September 24, 2022) and @detroitdronefilmfestival social media and website.
Nominees in the Film Categories will have a clip of their film aired in a category reel prior to the announcement of the category winner.
ONLY THE CATEGORY WINNING FILM WILL BE SHOWN IN FULL.
